| I am really hooked on this. One of the best songs I have heard for years and years, and I can't even make out the lyrics yet. Why such praise? Because to me at least the song tells the history of great British music since the 1970s in 3 1/2 minutes. I can hear so many musical references in there, the punk, the raggae (which is a real killer), the Smiths, and sounds that conjour up music I know but can't name. It'sa bit like when Egon tastes the ratatouille. A real achievement. Oh, and best use of an harmonica in a punk song ever. |
