With pretty much a sold out crowd packing the Hammersmith Apollo, the two opening acts, Sharks and Chuck Ragan were a stark contrast in style to each other but yet both complimented The Gaslight Anthem perfectly. Sharks energetic set led by a very enthusiastic frontman was inspiring whilst Chuck Ragan’s folky tunes accompanied by a violinist certainly capture the sentiments of The Gaslight Anthem’s working class Jersey background. Both gave the audience many cues to cheer on The Gaslight Anthem. ...

I was at this one, it was my first ever gig and I went alone too! It was definitely worth going to, all three acts were amazing that night. Got there about an hour before doors so managed to get right at the front of the crowd, which was pretty cool too.
