Which No Gods tracks have you already heard? In any form, including live versions, demos, acoustic or other snippets...

(I've made the ones I've heard bold)

'Til The Wonders Rise
Arcane Effigies
Able Moving Hearts
On a Clear Day You Can See Yourself

Matthew's Baby
Patient Spider
Turn to You
Dawn Soft Light
What Entails?
Luck
No Gods

That's 6/11 for me, I'm guessing the rest of you will be similar?

Edit - I've now heard another one (thanks tomlobban) but I have no idea what one it is!

James played an acoustic version of Luck on Warped Tour last year - check it out in the videos!!

I've heard pretty much the same as you, Jagveer, most of them being acoustic or when Ive seen them live.

I'm hooked on Able Moving Hearts and I can't wait to hear studio versions of all the other songs!

I'm pretty sure I heard about 20 seconds of the studio version of Luck, until they made it a private video.

I guess I wasn't meant to see that, oops!

Hey SL1210, do you mind me asking how you got to hear the record so early? Like are you a mate of the band or write for a magazine etc?
Just curious... as I can't bloody wait to hear the record.

I'm friends with someone who works for a well known music publication, i'm not a free loader though, have spent just shy of £100 on No Gods (ultimate bundle plus the other 2 vinyl variations).

Cool! Nice one man... just very envious!

Yeah I think most people on this board have dropped circa £100 recently for the bundle / variants / postage.
I fear that there's going to be another £20 ish for customs charge. Like I got charged when TJOL bundle was shipped over. Maybe that was just bad luck that time and it will cruise through fine this time. Fingers crossed anyway.

Yeah you're right, customs was £18 for TJOL I seem to remember, it actually annoys me more that it means an extra couple of days wait to get the parcel. One of those things... no avoiding it.

I ordered the Bundle pack with 2 t-shirts (alongside common grounds 7" as it cost like 5 dollars more) and paid about £42 overall, does that mean that I could potentially be charged another £20 or I don't get the bundle?

Yeah I'm afraid there's a high chance you'll get a £15-£20 customs charge mate Sad

Unless your package just happens to slip through by luck then if you don't pay the Parcel Force charge then you don't get your parcel. It's crappy!

I had the same thing happen today... I only ordered a Horrible Crowes yellow 7" single from a website in the states and although the record is only like $5 and the postage was about the same ish.... I've had to pay a £10.88 customs charge to Royal Mail before they'll actually deliver it to me. Which holds the postage process up at least 1 day. Maybe 2 or 3 depending if it falls on a weekend. It says on the card that I got "includes a £8 handling fee"... seriously £8 just for printing a card out!!!! Not cool! So I guess the actual customs part is only £2.88. Which isn't as bad.

When everyone was moaning about the postage charge being so high on their facebook page, I was more worried about the hidden charges like the customs charge.

It would be AWEsome if 1 person from the U.K put one pre-order in, on behalf of 4 or 5 of us who'd organised it in advance. To save shipping costs. As it's saves quite a lot of cash taht way. But the reality of making that happen would be a bit of a nightmare. Kind of a shame they're not signed to a U.K label.

That's strange cause I didn't get any customs charges for my TJoL package last year, and it was Royal Mail who delivered it! I dread to think if i'll get charged this time!

It definitely is a shame that we can't get the same pre-orders over here, but I guess thats the thing with a band being on a US label.

Damn, I was planning to buy SHARKS/NORTHERN TOWNS split and Shallow Waters off of Swaggercity. I guess it's the same story here?

Well again, when I ordered my copies (both Shallow Waters and all 4 of the Splits, I got no charges! Why do us in the UK get customs charges anyway?

I've ordered from swagger twice with no customs fees, perhaps they marked the package as gift and/or low value on the customs form, I can't remember.

Phew! I knew about custom charges but I assumed that the high cost of Uk postage was due to the postage charge, it can't cost £20+ just for the packaging?
