| How can I stop having "Trains" under my username? I don't know if it's my rank or whatever, but I don't like it :/ |

yes it's a rank
what do you think the lowest rank should be called?
here is a list of the ranks at present and the number of posts required to attain them:
Trains 0
It All Relates 100
Three Houses 200
More Blue 300
Glove In Hand 400
Show Of Hands 500
I'm happy to change them if anyone has better ideas

| Okay that makes sense. I think the names of the ranks are fine, but the amounts are way too high. It'll be quite rare that anyone advances beyond "It All Relates", so everyone's just going to be "Trains". Kinda defeats the purpose of ranks I suppose, with everybody being at the same level. Maybe the required post amounts should be lowered, is that possible? Anyways, we should see what others think, that's just me ^  |

I post on another music forum, where I currently have 2,194 posts (over two and a half years), so over time those ranks will be achievable.

| Fair point above, it will happen over time. I'm still unsure about it though, ranks won't be very relevant until we get a lot more regular members.
Not a MASSIVE problem lol, just something which has been annoying me for a while. |

| "Ranks" status to me seems to be achieved by those who spend their entire days sitting beside a computer. I am sure there are some of us on this site who grew up before the coming of the internet. I am sure I will be ranked at Trains for life. That's my rant. |
